Abstract

Compuestos fluorescentes. La presente invención se dirige a los compuestos de formula I, a un kit que comprende dichos compuestos y a su aplicación como agentes de tinción. Dichos compuestos están diseñados para que sean capaces de internalizarse en la célula viva, acumularse selectivamente en las mitocondrias y teñirlas de forma preferente a otros orgánulos celulares. Además tienen una elevada fotoestabilidad. Adicionalmente, los compuestos de la invención permiten ser aplicados en cultivos celulares, tanto cultivos primarios como líneas celulares, bien en células vivas o bien fijadas con parafornaldehido, manteniendo la eficacia de la tinción y su selectividad, permitiendo su uso en experimentos de visualización en tiempo real.
