Abstract

The invention relates to a lacasse with high redox potential produced by means of directed molecular evolution, which is active in electrophysiological conditions, resists high halide concentrations, has a significant neutral/alkaline pH activity and is active in human blood and plasma. The invention relates to the amino-acidic sequence of said lacasse, to the nucleotide sequence encoding for said lacasse and cells that allow the production thereof. The lacasse according to the invention has applications in various sectors: nanobiotechnology, biomedicine, bioremediation processes, and paper and fine chemistry industries.
