Control system of the position, speed limit and uncontrolled cabin or counterweight movement of an elevator, composed of an electronic equipment installed in the elevator's (11) cabin, including an accelerometer (13), which signal is evaluated in real time by a control unit (15), which calculates precisely the magnitude of the positive and negative accelerations of the elevator's vertical movement axis in both directions, and, thus, the position reached from the reference positions supplied by pre-final sensors (5) so that a micro controller (16) activates an output signal when the maximum velocity of the elevator cabin is exceeded, working on the parachute's (10) release so that the cabin (1) is immobilised.
