Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los reactores nucleares o relativos a los mismos, caracterizados por poseer un moderador asociado con material visible o en condiciones de ser asociado con tal material, en el que se han dispuesto medios para controlar la distribución del flujo neutrónico en el moderador, medios que comprenden un par de miembros retardadores adaptados para ser insertados en diferentes partes del moderador y enlazados o acoplados de modo que el movimiento de uno de los miembros hacia dentro o hacia fuera del moderador es acompañado por un movimiento correspondiente del otro miembro hacia fuera o hacia dentro del moderador, siendo tal la disposición que por el movimiento diferencial de los dos miembros los flujos en las dos citadas partes del moderador pueden ajustarse relativamente sin que ello afecte de modo sustancial al flujo total.
