Abstract

The present invention describes a vaccine against infestations caused by hematophagous arthropods, preferably ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies, red chicken mites, fleas, lice, sea lice, etc. Likewise, a peptide capable of inducing a protective and cross-reactive immune response against an infestation caused by hematophagous arthropods, a polynucleotide, an expression vector, a host cell, a non-human animal, an antibody, and a medicament is protected. , as well as the use of these products in medicine, preferably in recombinant DNA technologies and in immunology.

ND, sin The results are shown for each mouse infested with the mean ± S.D in parentheses. The data were statistically analyzed to compare the results for each species between the vectors fed in vaccinated mice and the control group using the Chi2 (* p <0.005) and Student (§p <0.05) test.
