Signal cooperation system, to determine the difference between two binary numbers, using several steps or levels of comparison, each of which corresponds to a position of figures of different significance in the aforementioned binary numbers, and which comprises a register of figures, means of entrainment, means of exit and an exit terminal; characterized by a provision for applying the figures of one of the binary numbers to the respective registers, in which the figures of the other primary number have been previously recorded; a provision for applying a signal indicative of disparity between figures recorded one after another, from each digit record to the entrainment and exit means; a provision for applying a signal representative of the sign of the difference between the two binary numbers to the entrainment means; an arrangement for applying a signal from the entrainment means to the output means, at a level of comparison of more significant figures, in response to the simultaneous reception of the sign signal and the disparity signal in the entrainment circuit; and an arrangement for applying outgoing signals from each level of comparison to the output terminal, in response to the reception of one of said disparity and drag signals in the output circuit.
