Abstract

The inventors have discovered that the pre-wrapping of the recycled aggregate with slow-breaking bituminous emulsion surprisingly favors the subsequent adhesion of the pre-wrapped aggregate with the bitumen. It also reduces the entry routes of water in the recycled aggregate as the bituminous emulsion is very fluid and, therefore, easily accessible to all pores of the recycled aggregate.
