Abstract

Método y sistema para monitorizar el tráfico de vehículos. El método comprende: - detectar unos dispositivos móviles (Mv, Mp) en posiciones geográficas diferentes mediante la recepción, en unos dispositivos detectores (D1, D2) dispuestos en una carretera (R), de información de identificación relacionada con dichos dispositivos móviles (Mv, Mp) contenida en señales inalámbricas; - determinar cuáles de dichos dispositivos móviles (Mv, Mp) detectados por dos dispositivos detectores (D1, D2) están asociados a vehículos (V1, V2, V3), procesando la información de identificación recibida para averiguar el tipo de dispositivo móvil relacionado con la misma;. - establecer un límite de velocidad de exclusión dinámicamente según las velocidades de los dispositivos móviles (Mv) asociados a vehículos (V1, V2, V3); e - identificar dispositivos móviles (Mp) que se mueven lentamente por debajo de dicho límite de velocidad de exclusión, y monitorizar el tráfico de los dispositivos móviles (Mv) que no se mueven lentamente. El sistema está adaptado para implementar el método.
