Abstract

The invention relates to a folding, retractable basket game that can transform into a seat, including a set of folding, hinged elements which: in an open position, form a basket game comprising at least a basket defined by a hoop (3) with a net (4) secured thereto and by a backboard (5) and, in a closed position, transform into a seat, with all of the game-forming elements being housed inside a container (2). According to the invention, the container (2) comprises an upper lifting lid (14) that can be opened by means of a hinged coupling (15), the upper surface of said lid including a cushion (16). In addition, the core (17) of the mechanism for folding and securing the basket and backboard (5) of the basket game is coupled to the lower surface of said lid.

SET OF FOLDING BASKET, SCAMOTABLE AND TRANSFORMABLE IN SEAT

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The invention, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, refers to a folding basket set, retractable and convertible into a seat, which contributes, to the function to which it is intended, a series of inherent advantages and novelty features to its particular and innovative organization and configuration, which will be described in detail below and represent a remarkable novelty within its field of application.

More in particular, the object of the invention is focused on a set of children-youth game basketball and balls whose structural configuration is designed to be collected and retracted inside a prismatic container that, in turn, It is configured as a seat furniture, giving the set a double and advantageous functionality.

FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

The field of application of the present invention falls within the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacture of games and toys, focusing particularly on the field of games or toys that are configured as a basketball basket of reduced size, and therefore , essentially applicable for interior spaces.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, although multiple types and models of basketball basket games or toy baskets are known in the market, at least by the applicant, the existence of any game of basket or any other similar invention that has technical, structural and constitutive characteristics similar to those specifically presented by the folding, retractable and transformable seat basket set that is recommended here, as claimed.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

Specifically, what the invention advocates is, as advanced above, a basket game that is configured as a child-youth game set for playing basketball that contemplates a small basket and a group of balls, preferably rubber balls foam, so as not to cause damage or noise, suitable for the dimensions thereof, with the particularity that the aforementioned basket has a folding structural configuration specially designed and designed to be collected and retracted inside a prismatic body, which , on the other hand it is configured as a seat furniture, so that when the game is not used, it has the utility of transforming into a seat.

More specifically, the recommended game is configured in such a way that, by lifting the cover-seat of the prismatic container in which it is retracted, it becomes the basketball basket game and vice versa, that is, when folded, it becomes furniture seat.

Said game, in addition to a hoop with a hairnet that constitutes the basket or basket itself and a backboard to bounce the balls before they fall into said basket, as is conventional in any basket game, also comprises a collecting net that is deploys and extends on both sides of the basket to collect the balls that arrive by launch, preventing them from being lost behind the set, also having some side panels and a lower base that, also when the mechanism is deployed, are inclined and arranged so that they form a track where the balls fall, being, thanks to said inclination, directed towards the pitcher's area.

Optionally, the game includes the incorporation of an electronic scoreboard of up to two players powered by batteries.

Once the use as a basket set is finished, releasing the folding mechanism that it incorporates in the lid and lowering it, the set will be reconfigured as easily movable seat furniture, when equipped with four omnidirectional wheels.

It should also be noted that through the flip-open opening of one of the smaller sides, easily identifiable by the shooter that incorporates for this purpose, the balls of the game can be reintroduced inside, leaving the option to play next occasions.

In view of the foregoing, it is found that the described folding, retractable and transformable seat basket set represents an innovation of structural and constitutive characteristics unknown until now for the purpose to which it is intended, reasons that together with its practical utility, endow it with sufficient basis to obtain the privilege of exclusivity that is requested.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is attached, as an integral part thereof, of a set of drawings, in which with character Illustrative and not limiting, the following has been represented:

Figure number 1.- Shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the folding, retractable and seat-convertible basket set, object of the invention, which has been represented in its position of use as such a game, that is, open and fully deployed, thus appreciating its general configuration and the main parts and elements it comprises.

Figure number 2.- Shows a perspective view of the example of the basket set, according to the invention, in its position of use as a seat, where the basket set is folded and retracted inside the prismatic container that serves as a seat and, in addition , of transport box and to store it.

Figure number 3.- Shows a perspective view of the back of the bounce board, where part of the mechanism that facilitates its support and that of the collecting network that incorporates on both sides of said board is observed.

Figure number 5. - It shows a side perspective view of the game, represented in its folded position, having been represented with one of its minor sides open and without incorporating the major side of the side that is in front of the spectator, so that it is appreciated the position of the elements that make up the game when it is folded and retracted inside the prismatic body which, in turn, serves as a seat.

Figure 6 shows a perspective view of the rear part of the metal structure of the prismatic body that incorporates the game of the invention, represented without some of the elements of the game, so that the lateral folding panels and the clamp that joins said partitions under the panel of the central lower base.

Figure number 7. - It shows another side perspective view of the game of the invention partially disassembled, in this case represented without the larger side facing the viewer and with the remaining assembly deployed, so that the position and configuration of the different elements that you understand.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred, but not limited, embodiment of the folding, retractable and seat-convertible basket set, object of the invention, which can be seen It comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.

Thus, as can be seen in these figures, the game (1) in question consists of a set of articulated and foldable elements that, in an open position, like the one shown in Figure 1, is configured as a basket set and, in a closed position, like the one shown in figure 2, it becomes a seat, when it is housed inside a container (2)

prismatic.

In its position as a basket game, the game conventionally has a basket determined by a ring (3) and a net (4) fixed to it, also having a bounce board (5) to facilitate the introduction of the balls (6) inside the basket, which, preferably, are supplied included in the game.

From this configuration, common to any basket game, the game (1) of the invention has the particularity of having, in addition, a double collecting net (7) that is deployed on both sides of the bounce board (5) also covering the sides of the basket to the bottom of the game, where it has a lower base (8) and two side panels (9) that determine respective inclined surfaces, down and towards the center, to direct the balls towards the area of the pitcher.

For its part, the container (2), which is of prismatic configuration of rectangular plan, is constituted by a metal structure (10) to which they are coupled to cover it, on its larger sides, two articulated boards (11) that, as will be explained next, determine the described side panels (9) of the basket set, and on its smaller sides, two flat front (12) and rear (13) boards that determine, respectively, the lower end of the inclined front base of the game of basket and the later closing of said game. In addition, this container has a folding top lid (14), on whose upper surface a cushion (16) is incorporated, which provides comfort to the seat, and whose bottom surface the core (17) of the folding and fixing mechanism of the basket (3) and bounce board (5) of the basket set.

Going further into the details, it is observed, according to Figure 3 that shows the back of the bounce board (5) without having represented the cover (14) to which it is fixed, how said board presents, in its back, a support piece (18) in which a central groove is provided for engaging therein a support bar (19) inferiorly linked to the core (17) of the folding mechanism and which is responsible for the support and the lifting or folding said bounce board (5) as well as the collecting net (7).

To do this, said support bar (19), in its upper part, has two connecting rods (20) that emerge on both sides of the same and to which two stringers (21) are coupled, articulated, which extend in opposite directions to both sides of the bar and of which two portions of the collecting net (7) hang, as well as two lateral bars (22) running parallel to the support bar (19) and are fixed at their lower ends to the core

of the mechanism by means of markers (36), such that, when the lid (14) of the container (2) is lifted, and the support bar (19) is raised, said connecting rods (20) and said bars (22) cause the deployment of the stringers (21) and, consequently, the opening of the collecting net (7) on both sides of the bounce board (5), the referred network, meanwhile, has various clipping closures or strategically provided fasteners to be able to tension it by fixing it inferiorly on the cover (14) and on the side panels (9).

According to figure 4, it can be seen how said core (17), also schematically observable in figures 8 and 9, is essentially formed by two articulated pieces, one anchoring (23) and another folding ( 24), which are articulated by an axis

And a second connecting rod (39) with function of the latter between support bar (19) and anchor piece (23).

The anchoring piece (23) is fixed screwed to the inner face of the cover (14) together with a T-shaped plate (26) that emerges from the top and is slightly bent forward, and the folding part ( 24) superiorly it has a housing (27) in which the lower ends of the support bar (19) and the lateral bars (22) described above that support the bounce board and the stringers (21) where they are articulated are anchored it holds the collecting net (7), the joining of said lateral bars (22) to said housing (27) being carried out by means of lateral pads (36).

This collapsible part (24) also has a base (28) that extends frontally to articulate the ring (3) at its end, while on the opposite side it has an inner bending (29) to which the lower part is attached. upper end of a central rod (30) whose opposite end is attached by the articulated joint (15) to the metal structure (10) of the container (2).

With this, by lifting said lid (14) and lowering the bounce board (5), the folding part (24) of the core (17) of the mechanism is articulated simultaneously and the ring (3) of the basket and the arms are opened (21) that hold the collecting net (7), with a projection (31) being provided in the aforementioned plate (26) that tends to press forward, that is locked in the anchoring piece (23), which in said position open fits and stops on top of the bend (29) of the folding piece (24), ensuring the open position of the game.

On the other hand, as can be seen in figures 6 and 7, the larger sides of the container (2), as already indicated above, are constituted by articulated panels (11) whose upper part is formed by side panels (9) that, when the mechanism is deployed and the lower base (8) is raised, they are released by the action of this elevation and are folded outwardly when they are joined inferiorly to each other by means of an elastic fastener (32), while the lower part of said boards (11) remains vertically attached to the metal structure (10) of the container (2).

In parallel, the front panel (12) is fixed to the structure articulated by its lower part, so that when the lower base is folded outwards (8), it descends through its anterior part until it is supported on it, while the opposite part of this base (8) is connected to two articulated arms (34) which, in turn, are anchored bolted to both sides in the lower inner part of the cover (14), allowing said base (8) to be Lift slightly along said side and tilt when the lid (14) is folded down, by means of the articulated joint between the same arms (34) and lugs (40) of the upper part of the metal structure (10) of the container (2), forming the inclined floor of the basket that returns the balls (6) to the pitcher's zone, since, in the folded position, as shown in Figure 5, the lower base (8) is arranged horizontally in the lower part of the container ( 2), providing interior space for different elements which make up the mechanism, the basket, the bounce board and the collecting net, as well as to house several balls (6). At the same time as the lower base lowering itself

(8) from its inclined position, it entails the recovery of the vertical plane, in line, of the upper (9) and lower parts of the major side panels (11) of the container (2)

At the opposite end of the container, (2), the flat back panel (13) also collapses, for which it has a handle (35) on its outer part, serving in this case to allow the introduction of the balls (6 ) when the game is folded as a seat. This backboard (13), in addition, is attached to the metal structure (10) by a strip of fabric (33) that locks it at its opposite end with a transverse slat (37), as well as its lower part is joined by hinged joint to said structure (10).

Finally, the container (2) has on the lower part of the metal structure (10) of 5 four omnidirectional wheels (38) that facilitate the sliding of the assembly.

Describing sufficiently the nature of the present invention, as well as the way of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to extend its explanation so that any person skilled in the art understands its scope and the advantages that derive from it,

10 stating that, within its essentiality, it may be implemented in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and which will also achieve the protection that is sought as long as it is not altered, change or modify its fundamental principle.

Claims (8)

1.-FOLDING BASKET, SCAMOTABLE AND TRANSFORMABLE IN SEAT SET, characterized in that it comprises a set of articulated and folding elements that, in an open position, are configured as a basket set consisting of at least one basket, determined by a ring (3) with a net (4) fixed to it, and by a bounce board (5), and which, in a closed position, are transformed into a seat, all the elements that form the basket set being housed inside a container (2); wherein said container (2) has a foldable upper lid (14), on whose upper surface a cushion (16) is incorporated and to whose lower surface the core (17) of the folding and fixing mechanism of the basket ( 3) and bounce board (5) of the basket game. 2.-SET OF FOLDING, SCAMOTABLE AND TRANSFORMABLE BASKET IN SEAT, according to claim 1, characterized in that in its open position, it has a lower base (8) and two side panels (9) that determine respective inclined surfaces, down and towards the center, to direct the balls towards the pitcher's zone. 3.-SET OF FOLDING BASKET, SCAMOTEABLE AND TRANSFORMABLE IN SEAT, according to claim 2, characterized in that the container (2) is of prismatic configuration of rectangular plan and is constituted by a metal structure
