Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a espumas flexibles de poliuretano que incorporan en su composición química polioléteres con características especiales, que en unas relaciones estequiométricas particulares confieren a la espuma de poliuretano obtenida características mejoradas de confort postural, histéresis, resiliencia, durabilidad y amortiguación vibracional, en un amplio rango de densidades y con una excelente procesabilidad. La invención consigue una gama de formulaciones de espumas flexibles de poliuretano con las que poder fabricar elementos de confort diferenciado en las funciones de asiento y colchón permitiendo una sorprendente reducción de espesor y peso del material obtenido, en cumplimentación de las especificaciones técnicas del vehículo. Esta reducción de peso repercute además en una reducción del consumo del vehículo y, por lo tanto, en una menor contaminación ambiental.
