Abstract

Sistema y método para realizar asignación de espectro en una red óptica. En el sistema de la invención, dicha asignación de espectro se realiza según un plano de control, dicha asignación de espectro comprende una provisión de recursos y trayectorias y comprende además una optimización del espectro. El sistema está caracterizado porque dicha red óptica es una red óptica flexible que comprende una pluralidad de nodos ópticos flexibles y porque comprende: - al menos un controlador de nodo óptico flexible en cada uno de dichos nodos ópticos flexibles para dicha provisión de recursos y trayectorias, comprendiendo dicha provisión de recursos y trayectorias al menos la reserva de recursos y el establecimiento de un enlace de conexión entre al menos parte de dicha pluralidad de nodos ópticos flexibles; - extensiones de protocolo para dicho plano de control con el fin de realizar al menos dicha provisión de recursos y trayectorias; y - un gestor de espectro óptico que proporciona dicha optimización del espectro, conectado a dicha pluralidad de nodos ópticos flexibles, que comprende adaptar la utilización del espectro según mediciones de tráfico llevadas a cabo mediante una herramienta de monitorización en dicha red óptica flexible.
