Abstract

La invención consiste en un nuevo procedimiento y dispositivo de ensayo para la compactación de probetas prismáticas de materiales tratados con conglomerantes hidráulicos para uso en carreteras, permitiendo variar la cantidad de carga (mediante el empleo del dispositivo diseñado a tal fin) y el tiempo de aplicación de la misma hasta ajustarlos a los requerimientos normativos (generalmente alcanzar el 98% de la densidad máxima obtenida mediante el ensayo Proctor modificado). El dispositivo o contrapeso propuesto presenta la peculiaridad de permitir variar la cantidad de carga a aplicar en función de la exigencia del material a emplear. Dicho dispositivo se define geométricamente por un soporte básico al que pueden ser acopladas tantas chapas metálicas sean necesarias, de manera que la carga aplicada y el tiempo establecido aseguren los requerimientos normativos.The invention consists of a new method and test device for compacting prismatic specimens of materials treated with hydraulic binders for road use, allowing varying the amount of load (using the device designed for this purpose) and the application time of the same until adjusting them to the normative requirements (generally reaching 98% of the maximum density obtained by means of the modified Proctor test). The proposed device or counterweight has the peculiarity of allowing to vary the amount of load to be applied depending on the requirement of the material to be used. Said device is defined geometrically by a basic support to which so many metal sheets may be attached, so that the applied load and the established time ensure the regulatory requirements.
