Abstract

Safety mooring for perfected constructions, applicable as a safety anchor to prevent falls from height, preferably in the construction of buildings, constituting a central body (1) formed by a high-strength belt whose ends form respective closed loops (2 and 3 ) or accommodate extreme rings, so that one of the loops or extreme ring is fastened in some element of the building, while the cable, harness, carabiner or safety element of the corresponding operator is connectable to the other loop or extreme ring; and where said central body (1) incorporates one or more intermediate rings (4) that provide the safety system with additional hooks; one or more of said intermediate rings (4) can be arranged in the central body (1) with reinforcement means that strengthen its connection therewith in order to avoid accidental separation. The improvement consists in that those closed loops or extreme rings (2, 3) and those intermediate rings (4) are partially or completely replaced by sewn loops (5) formed with the central body (1) of the ribbon of tie up by means of a certain series of axial and folded twists.

Description

Safety mooring for perfected constructions

The present invention, object of the application for addition No. P-200930864, and for which its conversion into an independent patent is requested under the article

110.1 of the Patent Law, refers to improvements introduced in the "Safety mooring for 10 constructions" disclosed and protected by the main patent No. P-200700611 (ES2324752-A1) and the corresponding Certificate of Addition No. P-200801086, which allow said safety tie in a simpler way, with lower economic cost, without losing resistance characteristics and without using metal elements, for which the present invention partially or totally replaces metal rings provided therein by loops knotted, sewn or both that can be shaped with the central body of the tape

20 mooring. Another object of these improvements is to improve the resistance to fraying of the mentioned belt, for which some corners are incorporated in its edges.

With this, the present invention enables embodiments not contemplated in either the main Patent or its first Certificate of Addition; the characteristics provided by this invention can be used in any combination with the mooring characteristics

30 registered in these two documents P-20070611 and P200801806.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION.-

It is known the risk of workers or operators in the construction of buildings when working at a certain height, certain safety systems such as life cables, harnesses or other elements that are normally held at points of the building are mandatory. These conventional fasteners have the disadvantage that they must be calculated in each particular case, also requiring specific hooks or structures that make the safety installation expensive, in addition to not being as reliable as one might wish.

In this sense, there are currently those popularly known as "ringed ropes" consisting of a rope that carries rings inserted in their laces at varying distances. This solution is intended to be attached to some resistant element of the building and dropped down the vertical walls coinciding with the areas where work is carried out so that the multitude of rings will come to assume an element to which the worker exposed to the risk of falling (such as for example on terraces, decks, viewpoints, windows, etc.) you can hook your safety harness.

On the other hand there is the patent with application number P-200600255 enunciated as “Safety mooring” that is applicable as a security anchor to prevent falls from a height, preferably in the construction of buildings and characterized in that it is constituted in a body central formed by a tape of high resistance whose ends form respective closed loops, so that one of the loops is fastened in some element of the building, while the cable, harness, carabiner or safety element of the corresponding operator is connectable to the other loop .

In addition there is a certificate of addition to the aforementioned patent, which presents the application number P-200602982, the aforementioned improvements being characterized because said central body and / or one or two of its loops have means of varying its length in order to be able to apply over different interconnection distances.

Although the aforementioned patent 200600255 and its certificate of addition 200602982 provide a safety mooring of great efficiency, simplicity and adequate characteristics in many applications, they have drawbacks that none of these registers foresees the incorporation of one or more intermediate rings in the central body to facilitate additional hooks to the security system.

Solving the inconvenience of the previous paragraph is the main patent of these improvements with application number 200700611, enunciated as "Safety mooring for constructions" and applicable as a safety anchor to prevent falls from height, preferably in the construction of buildings, constituting in a central body formed by a high-strength tape whose ends form respective closed loops or accommodate extreme rings, so that one of the loops or extreme ring is fastened in some element of the building, while the other loop or end ring is connectable to the other cable, harness, carabiner or safety element of the corresponding operator; and characterized in that the said central body incorporates one or more intermediate rings that facilitate additional hooks to the security system.

The aforementioned main patent No. P-200700611 has an Addendum Certificate with application number P200801806, which is characterized in that one or more of the intermediate rings referred to in the main patent are arranged in the central body of the mooring with reinforcing means that strengthen its connection to it in order to avoid accidental separation.

However, this Certificate of Addition No. P200801806 and its main Patent No. P-200700611 have drawbacks since they do not provide for embodiments in which said intermediate rings can be partially or completely replaced by knotted loops, sewn or both, to facilitate tie-ups of lower cost, easier implementation and may lack metal elements. In addition, this Patent and Certificate of Addition of the state of the art do not provide means of anti-spinning on the belt that forms the central body of the mooring.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION.-

In order to achieve the objectives and avoid the inconveniences indicated in previous sections, the invention consists of improvements introduced in the invention patent No. P-200700611, for: "Construction safety mooring", this mooring being applicable as a safety anchor to avoid high falls, preferably in the construction of buildings, said mooring being constituted in a central body formed by a tape of great resistance whose ends form respective closed loops or lodge extreme rings, so that one of the loops or extreme ring is fastened in some element of the building, while the other loop or extreme ring is connectable to the cable, harness, carabiner or safety element of the corresponding operator; and where said central body incorporates one or more intermediate rings that provide the safety system with additional hooks; one or more of said intermediate rings may be arranged in the central body with reinforcement means that strengthen its connection therewith in order to avoid accidental separation.

Newly, according to the invention, the present improvements consist in that those closed loops or extreme rings and those intermediate rings are replaced, partially or entirely, by sewn loops formed with the central body of the tie band by the following steps :

-

A first axial twisting of the central body in 360 °;

-

A second axial twisting of the central body in the same direction as the previous one and also 360º;

-

A first folding of the central body on itself at 180 °, so that the previously twisted part is at the end of the corresponding curvature or axis of the folding;

-

A second folding of the central body on itself in 180º in the opposite direction to that of the previous fold, so that in the central body a “S” tracing area is formed in which one of the curvatures of the “S” has the referred twisted part; Y

A transverse sewing on said "S" path

5 to stabilize it and leave the sewn loop shaped so that its free end corresponds to the aforementioned twisted part.

In addition, according to different embodiments of the invention, the tape that forms the central body is optionally incorporated into its side edges a corner bars or protective sheets that prevent fraying against chafing with elements of the corresponding construction, thus improving its strength and durability. Another way to avoid those

15 fraying consists of optionally incorporating a flexible tube or protective hose that surrounds said belt.

With the structure described, the improvements

20 provided in the present invention have relative advantages in that they facilitate low-cost mooring embodiments, high strength and simple realization, with metallic elements being lacking and the entire mooring can be performed with a single belt body. It also gives the

25 advantage of providing fraying means so that the belt that forms the central body of the mooring does not deteriorate against chafing.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT.-

Next, a description of a preferred embodiment of the invention is made with reference to the numbering adopted in the figures.

Thus, the safety tie of the present example has a central body 1 formed by a large belt of great resistance at whose ends they can form respective closed loops 2 and 3 such as those presented by the safety tie of the state of the art of Figure 10 ; not having represented those ends in figure 1 corresponding to the mooring of the present example to be able to give a larger size to it.

Substituting the intermediate rings 4 of the aforementioned mooring of the state of the art of Figure 10, the mooring of this example has sewn loops 5 that conform to the central body 1 of the mooring tape.

Said sewn loops 5 could also replace the aforementioned closed loops of ends 2 and 3.

This forms a safety mooring that is fastened in elements of the corresponding building under construction and in the harness, carabiner or operator safety element, also allowing additional intermediate safety connections.

Although other embodiments of the invention may be carried out in other ways, in the present example the sewn loops 5 have a constitution whose construction phases are shown in Figures 2 to 7.

Thus, in figure 2 the body tape is shown

In Figure 3, that belt or central body 1 has been axially twisted 360 °, this operation having been referred to as 5th.

From this 5th operation, a second axial twisting of the central body 1 is carried out in the same direction

15 than the previous one and also 360º, illustrating the result in figure 4 and presenting this second operation reference 5b.

After the previous operations, as reflected in

20 Figure 5, a first folding of the central body 1 is made on itself in 180 ° which has been referred to as 5c, so that the previously twisted part is at the end of the corresponding curvature or axis of the folding.

25 Next, a second folding of the central body 1 is carried out on itself 180 ° in an opposite direction to the previous one and referenced as 5d in Figure 6, so that in the central body 1 it is formed

30 an "S" tracing area in which one of the "S" curvatures has the said twisted part.

Finally, as shown in Figure 7, a transverse sewing 6 is carried out on the said "S" path to stabilize that path and leave the loop 5 formed so that its free end corresponds to the mentioned one

5 twisted part in order to have a greater resistance.

In the present example, it is also provided that the central body 1 of the constituent strap of the mooring present in its lateral edges some corners 7 which are

10 optional and that if they are arranged in the central body 1, as shown in figure 8, they provide a high resistance to fraying belt that could be caused by chafing with elements of the corresponding construction in the

15 application of mooring.

Another way to give the tie strap that great resistance to fraying is to surround its central body 1 with a flexible tube or hose

20 protective 8, as shown in Figure 9.

Claims (3)

1. Improved safety mooring for constructions, applicable as a safety anchor to prevent falls from a height, preferably in the construction of buildings, constituting a central body (1) formed by a high-strength belt whose ends form respective closed loops (2 and 3) or accommodate extreme rings, so that one of the loops or extreme ring is fastened in some element of the building, while to the other loop or extreme ring the cable, harness, carabiner or safety element of the corresponding operator is connectable; , and where said central body (1) incorporates one or more intermediate rings (4) that provide the safety system with additional hooks; , one or more of said intermediate rings (4) being arranged in the central body (1) with reinforcement means that strengthen its connection therewith in order to avoid accidental separation; characterized in its perfection, because those closed loops or extreme rings (2, 3) and those intermediate rings (4) are partially or completely replaced by sewn loops (5) formed with the central body (1) of the tape mooring by: a first axial twisting of the central body (1) in 360 ° (5a); a second axial twist of the central body (1) in the same direction as the previous one and also of 360 ° (5b); a first folding of the central body (1) on itself at 189 ° (5c), so that the previously twisted part is at the end of the corresponding curvature or folding axis; a second folding of the central body (1) on itself 180 ° in the opposite direction (5d) to that of the previous fold,

so that in the central body (1) it is shaped

Statement motivated according to articles 29.6 and 29.7 of the Regulations for the execution of Law 11/1986, of March 20, on Patents on novelty and inventive activity; quotes and explanations in support of this statement The object of the invention is a safety mooring for constructions. The technical problem that is intended to be solved is to provide alternatives to what is known in the state of the art, so that simple moorings are achieved, with lower economic cost, without losing resistance characteristics and without using metallic elements. The proposed technical solution consists of a mooring in which the metal rings are totally or partially replaced by knotted loops that can be formed with the central body of the mooring itself. D01 is considered the closest state of the art document. D01 discloses a safety mooring for constructions:

-

 Applicable as safety anchor to avoid height drops

-

 being constituted in a central body formed by a tape of great resistance whose ends form respective closed loops, so that one of the loops is fastened in some element of the building, while the other is connectable the safety element of the corresponding operator

-

 said central body incorporates one or more intermediate rings that provide the safety system with additional hooks, one or more of said intermediate rings being arranged in the central body with reinforcement means

 both intermediate rings and end closed loops are partially or completely replaced by sewn loops

The differences of claim 1 with respect to D01 are;

-

 in claim 1 the belt is attached only to the building by one of its ends, the other end being able to be used as a connection for the operator. But it is obvious to the person skilled in the art that the tape disclosed in D01 can be attached only by one of its ends to some element of the building and use the other end to connect the operator's security element. It would therefore be a different, but obvious, use for the same type of invention

 in claim 1 both the intermediate rings and the closed end loops are partially or entirely replaced by sewn loops. Using loops that are sewn to harnesses, belts, etc., is widely known and several examples can be seen in document D03.

For all the above, although claim 1 is new (Art. 6.1 LP 11/1986), it would lack inventive activity (Art. 8.1 LP 11/1986). Claim 2 is dependent and incorporates that one or more of the sewn loops conform to the central body itself. This is a configuration already known in document D01, so said claim would lack inventive activity (Art. 8.1 LP 11/1986). Document D02 discloses a safety mooring for constructions that would also affect inventive activity (Art. 8.1 LP 11/1986) of claims 1 and 2. Claim 3 is dependent and incorporates that one or more of the loops consists of a sewn loop that is formed by:

-

 a first axial twisting of the central body in 360º

-

 a second axial twisting of the central body in the same direction as the previous one and also 360º

-

 a first folding of the central body on itself at 180 °, so that the previously twisted part is at the end of the corresponding curvature or folding axis

It is an alternative in the state of the art that can provide for certain applications greater simplicity and lower economic cost, and which is not evident to the person skilled in the art. For all the foregoing, claim 3 is considered to be new (Art. 6.1 LP 11/1986) and implies inventive activity (Art. 8.1 LP 11/1986).
