Los cierres para bisutería y joyería, se han constituido a partir de una pieza tubular básica, en el interior de la cual se introduce y queda retenido un pasador en forma de "V", por la tendencia de sus ramas a separarse. Para la retención, se prevé en el cuerpo tubular, interiormente un resalte situado en un punto periférico, mientras que en el resorte, formado por la pieza en "V", se dispone una muesca, que ha de hacerse coincidir con la posición de dicho relieve.
