Description

Extensible support for dataphones.

The present invention relates to a dataphone holder that provides versatility as was not known so far in supports for these devices.

Dataphones, or also called TPV's or Pin Pad, are compact devices that, installed in a commercial establishment, allow customers to charge credit or debit cards, and this by means of a telephone or IP network connection, via GSM, GPRS , Wi-Fi or other similar technology. The dataphones have a keyboard, a small printer, a reader of the magnetic stripe of the cards, a chip and a software to manage the sales operation and the communications protocol.

There are dataphones of different dimensions, so until now, it was necessary to buy several media of different sizes, with the economic inconvenience that this entails for the commercial establishment. To this is added that some supports require for drilling the support surface. This leads to another drawback, that if the dataphone is changed to a different one, the support must be removed, perhaps the perforation may be modified, and the new support must be secured. In addition, current devices allow a very limited horizontal rotation and height adaptation due to their physical characteristics, which in turn imposes a series of conditions and limitations on the user during use. These inconveniences produce economic costs, wasted time, discomfort and inefficiency.

The proposed invention aims to provide an economical, comfortable, practical, simple and easy-to-use solution, the effect of which would be the saving of money, time and effort, thus significantly reducing unnecessary costs, without this having any negative effect on the user, neither economic, nor sanitary, nor of any other type.

The patent object of this invention has its field of application in the field of device holders, and more specifically in that of dataphone holders.

In the state of the art we find some documents related to the invention in question, although none of them provide the same advantageous characteristics nor effectively solve the existing drawbacks.

Thus, in document ES 1 053 656 U a multiple support for dataphones is mentioned, characterized in that it is constituted from a body made of any material deemed appropriate, preferably plastic, hollow inside, which can have the quadrangular plantar configuration or rectangular on its upper and lower face, having straight and parallel lateral faces of rectangular plan, and having in coincidence with the external sides of the base of ornamental projections, presenting internally several trays located horizontally that move on guides, incorporating in the area central pieces constituting handles, and placing the data on the surface of the trays. The drawback presented by this document is the space it occupies, which makes it not viable for placement in stores. In addition, it is not practical support when having to enter the data into a box. With respect to this document, the proposed invention provides a support of reduced volume and high performance, easy to use and very accessible.

The supports that are known in the state of the art and that are currently used in all establishments are of defined dimensions and not adaptable to datasets of other sizes, thus greatly complicating the changes of devices, making them more expensive and complicating the updating procedures and modification of said devices. In turn, it is important to keep in mind that the supports that were known until now only allowed a horizontal rotation of a maximum of approximately 210 °, thus differentiating from the proposed invention that achieves a rotation of up to 270 ° approximately. The turn has an important impact on the work of the charge manager, who often needs to turn the dataphone so that it is accessible to the client and himself. An insufficient capacity to turn the support causes discomfort for both the customer and the cashier. Another important adaptation that is necessary in daily use is the adaptation of the user's height support. Currently, the supports allow the dataphone platform to be raised between 10º and 70º, which, in some cases, is insufficient to obtain an ideal height. The proposed invention provides, thanks to a change in its structure, greater adaptability achieving an elevation of between 10 ° and 93 °, thus facilitating the work of the users and providing comfort by means of an ergonomic support.

Thus, we see that until now there was no known support that, due to its novel characteristics, resolves the aforementioned problems both in terms of the documents cited and other inventions or traditional supports for dataphones that we find in the state of the art.

Taking into consideration the cases mentioned and analyzing the conjugate arguments, with the invention proposed in this document, a final result is produced in which significant differentiating aspects are brought against the current state of the art, and where a series is provided. of advances in the supports already known with their corresponding advantages.

In particular:

It provides a support of reduced volume that saves space compared to other solutions found in the state of the art.

High performance is offered due to its adaptability both in the rotation and in the elevation of the platform, facilitating its use and providing comfort.

It presents simplicity in its structure, facilitating its manufacture and obtaining a final element of reduced costs.

-

A system adaptable to different sizes of dataphones is provided, thus becoming a significant saving in time and money for commercial establishments.

Its use does not present complications since its operation is equal to that of any other support that is currently known.

Thus, the present invention is constituted from the following elements:

A suitable fastening means for tables or counters of commercial establishments, jointly and severally attached to a cylindrical mast, which is connected to a dataphone platform by means of a horizontal axis at its upper end that acts as the platform's base of rotation, presenting the latter, at least, four grip nails near its vertices, the base of rotation being away from the center of the mast circumference, thus allowing a greater lifting capacity of the platform, counting the mast at its upper end with a rail guide with a horizontal turn socket attached to the platform. Said platform has on its underside with guide rails conveniently attached to the grip nails, thus allowing adaptation in terms of enlargement or decrease of the grip surface. The platform is constituted by two rectangular plates joined on its lower face by at least two longitudinal plates with respect to the platform, embedded in guide rails that allow the longitudinal extension of the platform.

A preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is constituted from the following elements:

A suitable fastening means for tables or counters (1) of commercial establishments, jointly and severally connected to a cylindrical mast (2), which is connected to a platform (3) for dataphone by means of a ball joint (4) embedded in a rail guide that is located at the upper end of the mast and that allows the rotation from left to right and vice versa, said kneecap being connected to a horizontal axis (5) of free rotation that allows the variation in the inclination of the platform. Said platform has at least four grip nails (6) near its vertices, the inclination axis (5) being away from the center of the mast circumference (2), thus allowing a greater lifting capacity of the platform. The platform has on its underside with guide rails (7) conveniently attached to the grip nails, thus allowing adaptation in terms of enlargement or decrease of the grip surface. The platform is constituted by two rectangular plates (8) joined in its lower face by at least two longitudinal plates (9) with respect to the platform, embedded in guide rails that allow the longitudinal extension of the platform.

Statement motivated according to articles 29.6 and 29.7 of the Regulations for the execution of Law 11/1986, of March 20, on Patents on novelty and inventive activity; quotes and explanations in support of this statement The present application refers to an extensible support for dataphones. The object of the invention according to claim 1 is an extendable support that has a means for attaching to a table or counter, a cylindrical mast, and a platform provided with at least 4 nails for fastening the dataphone, which is attached to the mast through a patella that allows the right and left rotation and a horizontal axis that allows the variation of the inclination of the platform, said axis being distanced from the rotation of the patella. Document D01, considered the closest state of the art, refers to a telephone holder provided with a means for its attachment to a board and a cylindrical mast, attached at its top to a label that allows the right turn to left and that has at the opposite end a horizontal rotation axis through which it joins the platform intended for holding the phone, allowing the variation of the inclination of the same. The platform has two fingernails for holding the phone (WPI summary; figures 1-2). The number of nails used for fastening is a design option considered a mere obvious particular execution for the person skilled in the art. Similarly, it is not considered that the use of support for a dataphone instead of a telephone confers any element of inventive significance. Slope claim 2, meanwhile, refers to the existence of guide rails at the bottom of the platform, attached to the clamping nails. The use of guide rails for clamping the nails intended to be extensible is one of the many possibilities that an expert in the field would choose without the exercise of inventive activity - see document D05 (figures) -. Accordingly, it is considered that the object of the invention according to claims 1 and 2 lacks inventive activity based on what is described in document D01. For its part, document D03, describes a telephone support provided with a means for its attachment to a board and a cylindrical mast, attached at its top to a label that allows the rotation from right to left and that has at the end Opposite an axis of horizontal rotation through which it joins the platform destined to hold the telephone, allowing the variation of the inclination of the telephone (figures 1, 4). As indicated above, the use of support for a dataphone instead of a telephone confers no element of inventive significance and the use of rail-guided nails located at the bottom of the platform for the extension of the extendable telephone is one of the multiple possibilities that an expert in the field would choose without the exercise of inventive activity (see document D05). Accordingly, claims 1 and 2 are considered to lack inventive activity based on what is described in document D03. The features of dependent claim 3 have already been used for the same purpose on similar supports see documents D02 (page 2, line 33-page 3, line 52) and D04 (Column 2, lines 25-32; figures) -. It would therefore be obvious for a person skilled in the art to apply these characteristics with their corresponding effect to a support according to documents D01 or D03, so that a one according to claim 3 is reached.
