2. Statement motivated according to articles 29.6 and 29.7 of the Regulations for the execution of Law 11/1986, of March 20, on Patents on novelty and inventive activity; quotes and explanations in support of this statement

The object of the invention is a multi-position anatomical relaxation and stretching couch, which has a support element for the user that can be positioned in a multiplicity of selectable operating positions across a wide predetermined angular sector, which comprises a single base on the one that rests and which is in solidarity, the user support element, whose base adopts a configuration such that in a transverse direction it is flat and in a longitudinal direction it follows an approximately dihedral profile, with both portions of the dihedral of substantially curved profile with convexity towards the receiving side of the user support element, adopting this last same configuration to define an upper support portion of a user's back and a lower support portion of the user's lower extremities, this base being in solidarity with an element of support which in turn is tilted, with and Undo of pivoting means, at the height of the transverse edge of the dihedral, on the upper crossbar of a metallic tubular lower structure supporting the assembly.

Document D01 discloses a patient support device, which presents a support element for the user (31,32,33,34, ..) capable of being positioned in a multiplicity of operative positions selectable across a wide angular sector determined by the movement around two pivots (22, 23) and, comprising a single base (11,13 and 14) on which rests and to which it stands, the user support element (31,32,33 , 34, ..), whose base (11,13 and 14) adopts a configuration such that in the transverse direction it is flat and in the longitudinal direction it follows an approximately dihedral profile, adopting the user support element (31,32,33, 34, ..) same configuration to define an upper portion (13) of a user's back support and a lower portion (14) of the user's lower limbs, this base (11,13 and 14) being in solidarity to a support element (10 and 12).

The means for multipositioning are constituted by a motor group (16) and an associated rod (17) which at its ends is associated with the base (11,13 and 14), so that the displacement of said rod in one or the other direction determines the pivoting of the different sections that make up the base (11, 13 and 14) (description and figures 1-10).

The fact that both portions of the dihedral do not have a substantially curved profile with convexity towards the receiving side of the user support element, but that this convexity is regulated by inflating the cushions that constitute the user support element (31, 32, 33, 34, ..), it is only a design modality without added technical effect.

On the other hand, the inclusion of vibration means and heating means at certain points of the stretchers, is widely disseminated in the state of the art, as can be seen in documents D03 and D04.

The difference between document D01 and the relaxation table disclosed is that the operating positioning system is different, since in D01, this is based on relative movements of the different sections of the base (11,13 and 14) by two pivots (22, 23) and not in the movement as a whole of the entire structure of the stretcher in relation to a single pivot point.

The technical effect associated with this difference is that the technical multiposition system disclosed in the first claim turns out to be less complex and makes it possible to arrange the patient's body with different inclinations without forcing the relative position of the different parts of the patient's body to be modified.

However, this difference as well as the associated technical effect are included in document D02. This document discloses a surgical stretcher that can adopt multiple positions within a wide angular sector through the union of the base (16) of the stretcher to a support (14) that fixes it to the ground, using a pivoting system (28, 30) which allows the stretcher to swing within this circular sector around a transverse axis (32) (description and figures 1-21).

It would be obvious to a person skilled in the art to combine these documents, in view of said combination that claims 1-5 lack inventive activity.
