Object of the invention

The present invention aims to obtain a transformable crib, which serves both babies of a few months and children up to 3 years of age, so that several cots are not necessary for these ages.

The cribs are small beds for children, with the particularity of having bars or side protections to prevent falls during sleep. Traditional cribs had semicircular feet that served to balance them and thus induce the baby's sleep. However, currently, most have standard legs with wheels. These have the dual function of providing them with mobility and allowing babies to rock.

There are many models of cribs made of different materials: wood, plastic, metal, etc. The cradle models for children up to three or four years are larger and have high sides to prevent jumps or falls. The proposed invention solves in a fully satisfactory manner the problems set forth above. It is a transformable crib, so that in the first months it can be used as a mini-cradle or cuckoo, later becoming a cradle for a child up to 3 years old.

The transformable cradle of the invention is composed of a plurality of modules, assembled with separable joining means, so that at first the cradle is a cuckoo, and with rolling means at the bottom to move or rock the child.

The cradle comprises two front modules, and two are detachably joined together. In the lower part, the cradle has a box spring element, on which the mattress is placed. One of the front modules is removed from the rest of the assembly, so that it allows to include other intermediate modules to extend the cradle.

Thus, the pieces to be placed to lengthen the cradle fit perfectly in the enabled hole, making the cradle longer, as much as the pieces to be placed.

With the proposed invention, the current problem regarding the purchase needs of two different products is solved, so that the final consumer only needs one. Description of the drawings

The invention described here consists of a transformable crib, which allows its use as a cuckoo or mini-cradle for babies, and at the same time as a cradle for children up to three years.

Inventive activity (Art. 8.1 LP):

Document D04 discloses a convertible cradle (figure 6) comprising four modules, two being frontal and two lateral, which are assembled in a detachable manner with each other, and a base module as a bed base, each module having a series of protective bars. Two modules are removed from the side modules by means of a sliding mechanism, and a complementary base module is included, thus extending the cradle (figure 1). The difference between the cradle disclosed in this document and the cradle of the invention is that in the first case the intermediate modules are attached to the side modules, while in the cradle of the invention they are removed and placed. However, the person skilled in the art could obtain the cradle of the invention from the one disclosed in D04 since they are obvious construction variants that obtain the same technical effect.
