Table and chairs set.

The object of the invention is, in general, a set of table and chairs and, more particularly, a set of table and chairs that has minimal thickness when folded, in transport position.

In the current state of the art, folding tables and chairs of preferential use in camping or beach are widely known and used. An unsolved problem is the transport of these furniture separately.

The object of the invention solves this problem, by advocating a set of table and chairs, for separate use and joint transport, forming a unique whole.

Basically, this set object of the invention consists of a table and two chairs. The table consists of a countertop arranged in a frame-frame to which two tubular brackets, foldable into the countertop, are pivotally attached. Each of the chairs consists of two U-shaped tubular supports that are pivotally joined by their wings and limit their opening by the seat surface itself, which is made of canvas

or similar.

On the underside of the table top there is a brace that acts as a brace of the frame of the worktop, to which it is attached. This brace has symmetrical configuration, having on each side an extreme housing to accommodate the tubular supports of the table and, at least, two identical interior housings to each receive two wings of the tubular supports of the chairs, which in principle are identical.

It is included in the object of the invention that the set described consists of a table with two identical chairs and some other additional chair of different size, for which it would be enough to form more than two pairs of interior housings in the brace.

Therefore, the content of the present application constitutes a new invention that involves inventive activity, and is susceptible of industrial application.

To better understand the object of the present invention, a preferred form of practical embodiment is shown in the drawings, susceptible to accessory changes that do not detract from its foundation.

An example of practical, non-limiting embodiment of the present invention is described below. Other embodiments in which accessory changes are introduced that do not distort its basis are not ruled out at all; on the contrary, the present invention also encompasses all its variants.

In accordance with the invention, and according to the embodiment shown, the table and chair assembly object of the invention includes a table (1), at least two chairs (6) and a brace (4) that acts as a brace.

The table (1) is structured on a countertop (2) mounted on a frame-frame (5) to which two tubular supports (3) foldable to the inside of the countertop (2) are pivotally joined.

Each chair (6) is structured in two tubular supports (7) in "U" that are joined by their wings in a pivotal manner. The souls of these two tubular supports

(7) relate to each other with a canvas (8) that acts as a seat and limits its opening.

The tubular supports (3) of the table (1) and the tubular supports (7) of the chairs (6) have the same diameter.

The brace (4) that acts as a brace is attached to the frame (5) of the table (1) at its ends, at two opposite points (5a), (5b). It has elongated and symmetrical configuration and has on each side an extreme housing (7a) to accommodate the tubular supports (3) of the table (1) and two identical housings (7b), (7c) to take each one to two wings of tubular supports

of the chairs (6).

The embodiment shown includes a table (1) and two chairs (6). Any alternative embodiments that do not alter, change or modify the proposed essentiality are included in the object of the invention: for example, include more than two chairs

for which it is enough to form on the shoulder (4) more than two pairs of identical housings (7b), (7c).

Document D01 describes a set consisting of a table and two seats with U-shaped folding tubular supports, in which the table also consists of a worktop that in its lower part has housings for the tubular supports of said seats (paragraphs [ 0053] - [0102]; figures). The use of supports pivotally attached to the seat instead of each other, of a rigid seat instead of a tarp, and the diameter used for each of the tubular supports, are design options that are considered as mere obvious particular executions for The subject matter expert. On the other hand, the use of bracing straps to stiffen frame structures is widely known in the state of the art, and therefore obvious to the person skilled in the art.
