The present invention refers to a device and a procedure for capturing traffic offenses, which allows anyone to notify the competent authorities that an infraction has been committed, having the necessary reliable evidence. Background of the invention

Nowadays, image capture camera systems for traffic control are known. In particular, the systems for capturing images mounted on land vehicles of agents of the authority record the infractions on a memory, whose images are subsequently downloaded through computer systems in order to process the complaint.

There are also helicopters equipped with surveillance cameras that record infractions from the air, in the same way as land vehicles.

There are also other fixed devices, such as cameras arranged on traffic lights, that record the image of the vehicle when it commits an infraction.

Other systems for capturing traffic violations are also known, such as speedometers mounted on vehicles or at fixed points on the road network that send images of the infraction to the complaint management center.

All the systems cited are based on the presumption of veracity available to the agents of the authority. This means that if an agent of the authority issues a complaint for a traffic violation, it has the presumption that the infraction has been committed.

On the other hand, any particular person can report a traffic violation that has witnessed an agent of the authority with a sanctioning capacity in the field of traffic in order to process a complaint against the offender.

In this case, the problem lies in the fact that a particular person does not have a presumption of truthfulness, and although they provide graphic evidence, they do not have probative capacity, unless the alleged offender assumes the complaint. This means that private persons do not usually report traffic violations of which they are witnesses.

Therefore, the need for a system for capturing traffic violations in which any person has the presumption of truthfulness is evident, so that the information sent to the competent authorities cannot be manipulated in any way. Description of the invention

With the device and the method of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described.

The device for capturing traffic violations of the present invention comprises:

at least one image capture camera;

a memory that stores said images captured by the camera or cameras;

a clock that indicates the date and time of image capture;

-

a transmitter and receiver of data;

-

a satellite locator to determine the position of the device;

-

control means that include in the captured images the data related to the date, time and position of the device before being sent through the data transmitter and receiver.

Advantageously, said satellite locator translates the coordinates in the nomenclature of the path where the device is located at the time of image capture, so that the nomenclature is included in the images.

The device of the present invention may also comprise a first identifier to identify the user of the device, the identification of the user along with the captured images also being sent.

The device of the present invention also advantageously comprises encryption means for encrypting the data that is sent.

In addition, the device of the present invention may also comprise a second identifier, to identify the device, the identification of the user being sent along with the captured images.

According to a second aspect, the present invention also refers to a procedure for the capture of traffic offenses, which comprises the following steps:

The device and the method of the present invention have the advantage of allowing truth information about a traffic violation to be sent to a management center, without the possibility that the images that have captured said infraction are manipulable.

In this way, any person who sees how a traffic offense is committed may report it, using a means of proof with presumption of truthfulness, as is currently the case with the agents of the authority.

In order for said presumption of veracity to be even greater, it is provided that the device of the present invention be approved by an official entity and sealed, so that it cannot be handled in any way. Brief description of the drawings

As can be seen in the fi gure, the device of the present invention comprises one or more cameras 8, which allow to capture an alleged traffic violation, which are recorded in a memory 7. The images with all this information are sent to a management center, which will process the complaint against the alleged offender if deemed necessary.

To allow the autonomy of the device of the present invention, it preferably comprises a battery 1 having an adequate duration.

It is envisaged that, in order to provide a greater guarantee that the images and data sent have not been manipulated, the device is approved by an official entity, and that the device of the present invention is completely sealed.

It is also provided that the user, after pressing the button 9, can record a voice message on the data, in order to facilitate the subsequent view of the infraction, such as vehicle data, brand, color, registration, as well as the offense committed.

It should be noted that the device of the present invention, in addition to the battery 1, may be powered by connection to the mains and / or a power source of a vehicle, for example.

In addition, the device of the present invention may be placed on a vehicle, on a fixed structure or on a transportable structure.

However, this difference is not considered to confer any element of inventive significance with respect to the known state of the art, as for example illustrates document D03 (see column 2, lines 60-68), thus not fulfilling the requirement of inventive activity according to article 8.1 LP. Claim 6 Document D01 describes a procedure for capturing traffic infractions, comprising the following steps: - capturing images continuously, including in said images information about the position by means of terrestrial coordinates and nomenclature of the road, where the catchment; -store said images in a memory; -when the user witnesses an infraction, press a button to recover the recorded images for a period of time before and after the push button is activated; and -send these images to a management center, making the infringement known to the competent authorities, providing the images with the information obtained.
