Apparatus for starting and stopping the gas flow, comprising a valve body having an inlet and an outlet, a diaphragm inside the body forming a chamber, a crushing arm in the chamber and fastened to the diaphragm, a movable jaw with the crushing arm and diaphragm, a fixed jaw mounted within the chamber to cooperate with the movable jaw and a crush tube extending from the entry between the fixed and movable jaws to the outlet.
