Abstract
The antenna of the invention allows working in directional, bidirectional and omnidirectional mode, with a structuring whereby its adjustment is extremely efficient and durable over time. For this, the antenna is constituted from a discoidal base, from which a stem (2) emerges centered around which a radiating element (3) of decreasing helical configuration is established, which is fixed to said base (1 ), incorporating an electronic component of adjustable capacity that electrically relates said radiating element (3) to the base (1) for precise tuning adjustment. Additionally, the antenna incorporates a protection system against discharges (10-11-12) materialized in an electronic device with a high impedance in the working frequency of the antenna and with zero impedance against pulses generated during an electric shock. The set described complements with a radome that adapts to the geometry of the radiating element (3) and that is fixed tightly to the base (1).

Antecedentes de la invención The invention is intended to be used within the railway sector, but obviously it can be used in other industrial or transport sectors where a link or communication via radio is required. Background of the invention
Within the scope of the invention, the use of antennas for communications between one or several points is known. The use of directional antennas with fixed polarization can cause that there may be level losses between the emitter and the receiver when there are objects in the environment close to the antennas or between both equipment that can alter the signal phase, for example buildings, vegetation , etc., causing the signal to disappear under these conditions.
Descripción de la invenciónAlthough antennas with a progressive helical configuration in other fields of application other than the invention are known, such as the space industry, the applicant has no knowledge of antennas of this type within the scope of the invention, which incorporate means that make them immune to atmospheric discharges, as well as incorporating high precision adjustment systems that optimize their operation. Description of the invention
In accordance with the essentiality of the invention, in an area close to the end where the radiating element is fixed to the base, the inclusion of an electronic component of adjustable capacity, associated with an impedance matching line, is provided. allows to optimize with great precision the work point of the same, making it remain unchanged with the passage of time, giving the system high reliability.
According to another of the characteristics of the invention, it is provided that in the area of fl uence of the radiating element with said base, a protection system against discharges is established, consisting of an electronic device having a high impedance in the working frequency of the antenna, while on the contrary said impedance is zero against the pulses generated during an electric shock, so that it cannot damage the elements, both internal to the antenna and the connected equipment.
The assembly thus described is protected from the effects of the weather through a radome, that the assembly is sealed tightly.
The base will incorporate in its external face the corresponding fixing means of the antenna to the corresponding post, as well as the corresponding coaxial connector of the antenna.
