Abstract
Filter for taps. # This is a filter intended to be mounted in the access channel to a tap, being preferably applicable in tanks to prevent the passage of foreign bodies and to regulate the flow of incoming fluid by reducing the volume of fluid per unit of time. The faucet is constituted from a rectangular body of small thickness, with two different sections: a first section (1) provided on both sides with a plurality of oblique fins (3), outdated those of a face with respect to those of the face opposite, and alternatively arranged opposite to those of each face, jointly determining a labyrinthine passage that allows reducing the speed of the circulating fluid in said first section (1) of the route. The other section (2), located next to the previous one, is provided on both sides with semicircular fins (8), facing those of one face with respect to those of the opposite face and arranged perpendicularly to the plane and longitudinal axis of the rectangular body. Said semicircular fins (8) are affected at their edge of battlements (9), determining small passages for the circulating fluid and coming from the first section (1). These battlements (9) are those that constitute the filtering medium to prevent the passage of small foreign bodies.
Description
Filtro para grifos. Filter for taps.
Objeto de la invenciónObject of the invention
The present invention, as expressed in the statement of this specification, refers to a filter for taps, whose obvious purpose is to prevent the passage of certain foreign objects immersed in the flow of fluid that accesses a faucet, and prevent with it possible anomalies in the operation of the tap itself.
Antecedentes de la invención The object of the invention, in addition to filtering foreign bodies that access a tap, is to reduce the speed of the incoming fluid, thereby reducing the volume of water per unit of time and thereby achieving optimum and efficient operation of the tap . Background of the invention
Currently, certain types of faucets and / or valves are complemented with fi ltered devices and even reduced fluid velocity, trying to achieve proper operation by preventing the passage of foreign bodies inside the tap or valve in question, even work in a given range of pressures, either for safety or for the requirements of current regulations.
Descripción de la invenciónHowever, the application of filters and flux speed reducers in faucets for filling toilet tanks requires particular characteristics of the filters themselves, so that they perform the two functions mentioned effectively, since this type of faucets is very important the speed of the fluid (liquid) since they close automatically. Description of the invention
The filter of the invention, although it can be applied to conventional valves and taps, is preferably intended for concrete application to toilet tank filling taps.
In this sense, the fi lter of the invention is characterized by having a general cylindrical configuration determined by a rectangular body of small thickness, in which two flat and contiguous sections, slightly out of phase, are established, presenting the first section, considered as above, and on both sides, a plurality of fins perpendicular to the face but with an oblique arrangement with respect to the longitudinal axis. Fins that have the shape of a right triangle with the side corresponding to its curved hypotenuse, the greater leg being attached to the plane of the rectangular body, while the smaller leg is perpendicular to that plane and in proximity to one of the edges of the commented rectangular body, the fins being arranged alternately opposite each side and offset between them of one face with respect to the other, to jointly determine a labyrinthine passage that allows to reduce the speed of the fluid in that first section of the fi lter.
The other section, established after the aforementioned, has semicircular fins on both sides, perpendicular to them and facing each other, to determine partitions in the form of transverse discs, these being on its periphery equipped with battlements that determine small steps for the filtrate of the circulating fluid and coming from the first labyrinthine section.
These fins 3 of each face are alternately positioned opposite, the side 6 corresponding to the hypotenuse of each fin 3 of curved profile, with a protrusion 7 at its highest point.
The fins 3, according to their shape and arrangement, determine a labyrinthine section that causes the flow of circulating fluid to lose speed. That is, said section 1, as a section prior to the direction of flow of the fluid, acts as a speed reducing means.
Por su parte, el tramo 2 presenta una pluralidad de aletas semicirculares 8, perpendiculares y en oposición las de una cara respecto de las de la otra, determinando tabiques discoidales y transversales, estando dichos tabiques afectados de almenas 9 de diferente amplitud o profundidad para determinar conjuntamente que dicho tramo 2 actúe como medio de filtraOn the other hand, section 2 has a plurality of semicircular fins 8, perpendicular and in opposition to those of one face with respect to those of the other, determining discoid and transverse partitions, said partitions being affected by battlements 9 of different amplitude or depth to determine jointly that said section 2 acts as a fi ltration means
