Abstract

Referring to the attached drawings and in particular to figures 1 and 2, the number 1 denotes a clothesline in in accordance with the present invention.

The clothesline (1), tower type, comprises a pair of opposite uprights (2 and 3) that define a frame (T), with a respective upper end (4 and 5), and a respective end bottom (6 and 7) where to each upright (2 and 3) a base (21).

In the preferred embodiment shown, with reference to figure 8, it can be seen that the uprights (2 and 3) They are tubular and have an oval cross section.

Clothesline according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least one drip tray (310) connected to the frame (T) and aligned vertically with the shelves (9), the shelves (9) being in their extended position, to collect the liquids that leave the garments placed on the shelves (9). 25. Clothesline according to claim 24, characterized in that the drip tray (310) has a bottom surface (311) for collection. 26. Clothesline according to claim 25, characterized in that the drip tray (310) has a side wall (313) for retaining liquids. 27. Clothesline according to claim 26, characterized in that the side wall (313) surrounds the bottom surface (311). 28. Clothesline according to claim 24, characterized in that the drip tray (310) has a planar dimension substantially equal to that of the shelves (9). 29. Clothesline according to claim 24, characterized in that the drip tray (310) can be moved between an open position, in which it is aligned vertically with the shelves (9), the shelves being in their open position, and a closed position, in which it is close to the frame (T). 30. Clothesline according to claim 29, characterized in that it comprises support means (314) for the drip tray (310), to hold it in its open position. 31. Clothesline according to claim 30, characterized in that the support means (314) comprise a leg (315) that rests on the floor and is associated with the drip tray (310). 32. Clothesline according to claim 31, characterized in that the leg (315) can be moved between an operative position, in which it is arranged substantially perpendicular with respect to the drip tray (310) and a position of minimum dimensions, in which it is arranged substantially parallel with the drip tray (310). 33. Clothesline according to claim 32, characterized in that it comprises a housing (316) corresponding to the bottom surface (311), to receive the leg (315) in its resting position. 34. Clothesline according to claim 29, characterized in that it comprises fixing means (317) for keeping the drip tray (310) in its closed position.
