Abstract

Leg fixator for golf players.

The fixator includes a base (1) to support the foot (2) of a golf player (3) during his apprenticeship, whose base (1) a telescopic arm (6 - 6 ') emerges articulately than in its upper end includes a half-moon element (11) of positioned on the hamstring of the player's leg, to prevent movement of this in the performance of the swing by the player (3). Leg fixator for golf players.

Object of the invention

The present invention relates to a fixative of leg for golf players, planned to establish a immobilization of the leg (right for right and left for left-handed), and thereby achieve greater power, better direction of shot and greater adaptability to the posture of the swing.

The object of the invention is to achieve that in the golf learning, specifically when performing the swing hit, the player does not move the leg and thus get the most efficiency in the blow.

Background of the invention

As is known, when the golf player hits the ball tends to move his right leg, and in case it is left-handed left leg, resulting in the blow not being precise and even to lose power in it, so such that during learning and in order to avoid that tendency to move the leg, the coach uses a kind of cane with its crescent-shaped end, supporting it behind the player's knee, preventing the respective leg from moving during the swing hit.

As is evident, this solution not only supposes that the player in his learning has to have next, every time he hits, a person holding that kind of cane to prevent leg movement, but there is a risk that that coach or bra holder is hit with the stick hitting the ball, since the movement of the stick is of back forward on one side, being able to be hit that coach who really has to be close to the player to hold the cane on the knee of said player and avoid movement of the leg of this one.

Description of the invention

The leg fixer that has been recommended has been conceived to solve the problem previously exposed, since that it can be used without the need of third parties, since it is constituted by a settlement base on the floor, which can be considered as a sole, and that on your face bottom will incorporate studs, similar to those of boots or shoes of the players, so that it is anchored on the ground, so that from the rear end of that base articulately emerges a telescopic arm that bends orthogonally at its upper end  determining a short section in which the element is planned crescent mode that will rest on the back of the knee or hamstring, so that the player resting his foot on the base secured on the ground, immobilization of the leg of said Player is insured. In addition, being the telescopic arm can adapt to any leg height or length and therefore to any player, complementing the base with a lateral stop and longitudinal, on the inner side, which helps that the foot is not move inwards when the striking of the swing

The arm is foldable and foldable, that is to say put it in an almost vertical position during use and it will be folded on the base in a resting situation, so can store occupying a minimum volume and transport comfortably in any sports bag or in the trunk of a vehicle.

It is evident that by means of said fixative they are avoided the problems referred to in the previous section, so that the Athlete or player can train without needing the help of a third person or coach, who can teach simultaneously to several players.

Due to the special configuration and layout of elements, the fixator offers a good adaptability, since its height can be adjusted and even tilt forward its articulation with respect to the base, adjusting, as it was said, both at the height of each player as the bulk of it, constituting in addition a device of individual use without expense in human resources (trainers) and usable for all levels of players.

In addition, the referred fixer achieves greater power in hitting the ball by the player, better shooting direction, and optimal adaptability to the swing posture

Finally say that the material in which it constitutes the fixer can be any, from stainless steel, up to carbon, graphite, titanium or other material with enough stiffness, also including the curved element like a crescent on its concave surface a lining or padding to avoid rubbing of the back or crook of the player.

Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

As you can see in the referred figures, the fixative of the invention is constituted from a base (1) rigid, which takes the general form of what can be considered like a sole, logically larger than that of a shoe, but suitable for the support of the sole of a shoe corresponding to foot (2) of a golf player (3), with the particularity that base (1) presents on one of its sides, specifically the considered as internal, a longitudinal and stop element (4) to prevent the stroke not only immobilizes the leg of the  player (3) but avoid the movement or displacement of the foot (2).

From the back of the base (1), and through from a support (5), a telescopic arm (6) emerges with a part tubular corresponding to the reference itself (6) articulated, along the axis (7), to a head with a grip lever (8), of way that the section of the telescopic arm (6) referred to receives in its inside the upper section (6 ') of smaller diameter, so that this The latter can emerge or hide in the section (6) and thus form the telescopic arm as a whole, fixing the section (6 ') movable to the desired height based on some elements radial as screws or knobs (9) that are visible clearly in figure 1.

The upper and movable section (6 ') of the arm telescopic presents an upper bending (10) at whose end a piece is designed as a crescent (11) in whose concavity a protector or lining (12) of padding, to avoid rubbing or damaging the hamstring of the player's leg (3), since that part as a crescent (11) will be placed on the hamstring when the player's foot (2) supports on the base (1), as shown in figure 2, in which you can also check that the telescopic arm (6 - 6 ') can, based on its articulation (7), lean more or smaller measure forward and adapt to the characteristics of player size (3), and even based on the telescopicity of that arm (6 - 6 ') adapt to the length of the Legs of the player himself.

Finally say that the base (1) by your face inferior and for its best consolidation on the ground, it has nails or studs similar to those included in the footwear of the golf players, for optimal settlement and fixation of said base (1).

Leg fixator for golf players, which being provided to immobilize the right or left leg for left-handed, of a golf player during his learning, to prevent movement of that leg during the swing, is characterized by it is constituted from a base (1) as a sole to support the foot (2) of the player (3), base (1) that includes at its rear end a support (5) on which an arm is articulated mounted telescopic (6 - 6 ') fixable at any height by means of elements like screws or knobs (9), while superiorly the telescopic section (6') of the commented arm has a half-moon element (11) of positioned on the hamstring of the player's leg (3) when the foot (2) of the latter rests on the base (1), establishing the immobilization of said leg in the performance of the swing by the player (3). 2. Leg fixator for golf players, according to claim 1, characterized in that the telescopic arm (6 - 6 ') is mounted with respect to the lower support (5) in a joint (7) that makes it possible to provide greater or lesser inclination to one's own telescopic arm (6 - 6 ') and adapt both to the length or height of the player and to the bulk of the player. 3. Leg fixator for golf players, according to previous claims, characterized in that a longitudinal element (4) is included as a stop on the inner side of the base (4) to prevent movement of the player's foot (2) (3) supported on the base (1). 4.
