Abstract

Improved clock, of the type which comprises the corresponding sphere (2), numbers (3) indicating the hours, and standard hands (4), (5) and (6) indicating the hours, minutes and seconds respectively, which is characterized in that one or more additional hands are provided, preferably an additional hour-indicating hand, equipped with independent control means, and having another colour, dimensions or features that clearly differentiate it from the standard hands (4, 5, 6) for the hours, minutes and seconds. The invention is intended to facilitate viewing of different timezones corresponding to zones other than the place of origin, or also winter and summer times simultaneously.

Object of the invention

The present invention patent application It aims at a perfected clock, which brings the function to that is intended, several advantages that will be reported later, apart from others inherent in its organization and constitution.

Background of the invention

Currently and as a reference to the state of the technique, it should be mentioned that multiple and varied are known types of watches, in order to provide the user with at least one time information, based on hours, minutes and seconds, at the same time that some incorporate complementary functions such as a stopwatch, alarm clock, etc.

The best known watches are currently those of  operation by analog and digital technology.

The analog operation clocks are the better known, and the information is usually provided by a visible sphere through a translucent and resistant body, and in which next to its periphery twelve circular numbers are observed and equidistant properly arranged, representing the hours, and usually they are separated by equidistant stripes in radial position representing minutes and seconds, while three indicator hands run from the center, corresponding to the hours, minutes and seconds, that move circularly, and adjust to the correct time by controlling appropriate, indicating the schedule by signaling to numbers or spaces between them in the sphere, so that the user obtains at any time the information of the exact time at the place where that time has been set, but however, this information is not valid for other countries that maintain time differences with the country of origin, so the user is forced to change the time to reach the other place.

Description of the invention

To avoid these inconveniences, it has been devised the perfected clock, object of the present invention, which is  characterized in that it has one or several additional rods, preferably one, so that it also serves to know the time in one or several countries with different time differences from origin, know the different hours of the schedule summer-winter, without having to adjust the clock hands in the new place.

Said additional hand is a time indicator, that is to say, in addition to the hour hand, the minute hand and the second hand, which indicate the time of origin or base time, said additional hand indicates a different time than the previous one in one or several hours, as previously set and independently of the other hands, at the choice of

The adjustment of this additional hand can be by pulsation (like the day hands that some have clocks) or by thread (as the day setting in the window standard), or it can even be united in solidarity with the other hand for time indication winter summer.

The present invention gives rise to many other variants, based on the same invention, such as adding a time hand on an internal circular scale of adjustable hours; that the adjustment of the additional hand is by means of GPS or satellite time signal, instead of being the manual adjustment; an automatic adjustment of the additional hand to the place where it is directed; add an inner circle with the hours in variable format, so that said hand simultaneously indicates 2 h. and 2 pm,
etc.

To complement the description that then it will be done and in order to help a better understanding of its characteristics, is accompanied by this description, of a set of planes in whose figures, of form illustrative and not limiting, the details are represented significant of the invention.

In view of the aforementioned figure and in accordance with the numbering adopted, an illustrative example, although not limiting, of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, consisting of an improved clock (1) with its corresponding sphere, can be observed (2), numbers (3) hours indicators, and traditional hands (4), (5) and (6) hours, minutes and seconds, respectively, which is characterized by presenting one or more additional hands, preferably an additional hand (7) indicating the hours as illustrated in figure 1, provided with independent control means, which has another color, dimensions or other characteristics that clearly differentiate it from traditional hands (4, 5, 6), corresponding to the hours, minutes and according

The purpose of the invention is to be able to facilitate simultaneous viewing of other different schedules corresponding to places other than the place of origin, or winter-summer time.

In the example illustrated in the figure, the time base at the place of origin would be 2 h. 15 min. or 14 h. 15 min.,  indicated by the hands (4, 5, 6), and at the same time the time International Greenwich Meridian (GMT), which would be 0 h. 15 min. or 12 h. 15 min., Indicated by the hands (7, 5, 6).

The invention, within its essentiality, may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example in the description, and which will also achieve the protection that is collected. It may therefore be done in any shape and size, and with the most appropriate materials and means, to keep all this included in the spirit of the claims.

Improved clock, designed to facilitate the simultaneous display of other different schedules corresponding to other places different from the place of origin, or winter-summer time, of the type comprising its corresponding sphere (2), numbers (3) indicators of the hours, and traditional hands (4), (5) and (6) indicative of the hours, minutes and seconds, respectively, essentially characterized in that one or more additional hands are provided, preferably an additional hand (7) indicating the hours, provided with independent control means, which presents another color, dimensions or other characteristics that clearly differentiate it from the traditional hands (4, 5, 6), corresponding to the hours, minutes and seconds.
