Abstract
It is an iron, of which the bulletproof vests are inside the vest itself, which is formed by two plates, rubber or rubber balls, and clamps on the edges. Its objective is to reduce the total weight of the vest to achieve greater comfort, without losing efficiency. To stop the force of the impact, it has rubber balls between the two plates, one of them being simple support and the other the one that protects from the bullet. This is a very resistant plastic material formed by very thin layers and horizontally wavy.
Description
Plancha antibalas para chaleco de protección.Bulletproof iron for vest protection.
Get a bulletproof iron, of those used inside bulletproof vests, which are not weigh, without losing effectiveness in braking the force of the impacts and that guarantees user comfort.
There is the bulletproof vest that wears a metal plate, steel, protection, which is installed in the inside of a vest formed by kevlar thread, very resistant, and which does not allow the bullet to pass. It is a thick iron that weighs quite. Another vest, see my Utility Model No. U200200334, titled: Projectile impact protector, is another antecedent consisting of corrugated plates that have one or several springs behind them and another support plastic plate.
actualidad. What is presented today is a sheet of a very resistant plastic material that allocates the absorption of the force of the impact to some rubber balls that are behind it, sandwiched between it and another plate, also of very resistant and light plastic. The shock plate is corrugated in very thin horizontal layers. This can also be made of steel, although much thinner than those used in the
present.
11.IV.03The Bulletproof Iron for protective vest , is intended to be part of a bulletproof vest made of kevlar wire, replacing the current steel plate that is placed inside the vests, to stop the impacts. It is a variant of my previous Utility Model, No. U200200335, entitled: Projectile Impact Protector . The fundamental differences are the following: instead of using impact absorption springs, these springs are replaced by rubber balls, rubber, (2), which are placed in small hollow casseroles (3) on the plate of support (4) below. This facilitates the construction of the protector much more, because, once the balls are placed in their corresponding basins, it is only necessary to put the other protection plate (1) on top of them. This is held in that position by means of tweezers (5) that are located on the edges of the two plates. Screws can be fixed at that separation limit by the back of the support plate (4). The other plate, the previous one or of protection (1), is formed of a very resistant plastic material that is used in motorcycle helmets or other similar material. This material will be arranged in very thin and wavy layers, and arranged horizontally. This means that a thin wavy layer will form, for example, 0.5 centimeters wide, 30 centimeters long. On them another equal layer will be put on, and, on this other one, another equal layer will be placed and so on until completing the height of the vest plate, that is, the height of the chest and stomach. The wavy layers are perpendicular to the chest plane and are placed on top of each other. If compared with a book, its spine is much more resistant to any impact, where the leaves are stacked on each other, than if the impact occurs in the middle or in the plane of the sheet, even if it is a book Very thick of many leaves. And, if, in addition, this spine is wavy, it is much more resistant. This determines the construction of the anterior plate that would be much less resistant in the case of being made with vertical sheets and parallel to the chest, like those of a book.
impactos. The bulletproof plate for protective vest is characterized by being an iron intended to stop the impacts of bullets inside a kevlar vest. It is formed by two main plates, one of support (4) that has, in its inner face, small casseroles to put the rubber balls, and another of protection (1). It also has tweezers (5) that support them, and rubber balls (2) that absorb the force of impacts. The clamps (5) keep the plates fixed in their position, one in front of the other, by means of screws that are placed on the back side of the support plate (4) and only in it. They are "U" shaped tweezers - seen from the side - or, they are a parallelepiped that lacks one of the lateral faces and the faces of the ends. On one of the faces - the one that is fixed to the support plate (4) -, they have screw holes. The folded upper face of the clip (5), serves so that the wavy anterior plate does not exceed the limit offered by that bend, but is not fixed to it so that it can absorb the impact of the projectile. And, this plate does not fall because there are clamps on all edges. The corrugated, anterior (1) plate is formed by a very resistant plastic material of those that currently exist, be it used in the helmets of motorcycle riders or one of a similar hardness. It is about making it in thin wavy layers that overlap the crests of some in the valleys of the others, so that they acquire a hardness similar to that offered by the spine of a book formed by the edges of the leaves. Each layer is perpendicular to the chest plane and all layers are placed on top of each other. The back support plate (4) is a simple plate that supports all the fundamental elements. It will be of a plastic material, very light and also very resistant. The clamps (5) are screwed to it, and on its inner face, that is, the one between the two plates, it has small casseroles (3) to place small balls (2) of rubber or rubber on them. very resistant rubber, which can absorb
impacts
