Abstract

Aplicación en el diagnóstico y tratamiento del SIDA.Analytical method for the diagnosis of AIDS and the use of related monoclonal antibodies. Said analytical method is based on the different level of expression of the HLA-G antigen molecule that takes place on the surface of the monocytes and lymphocytes of the peripheral blood of healthy individuals and individuals infected with HIV-1, and comprises evaluation by Flow cytometry of the percentage of said monocytes and / or lymphocytes expressing said HLA-G antigen molecule in the individual under analysis. In addition, the use of specific monoclonal antibodies against the HLA-G molecule to sensitize said monocytes and / or lymphocytes of AIDS patients, against the cytotoxic cells of the immune system. Application in the diagnosis and treatment of AIDS.
