Abstract
Tubo hueco compuesto de fibra de carbón para aplicaciones de alta fatiga en vehículos y otros equipos que tiene un tubo interno para resistencia a la fatiga reforzada. Un perfil interno (12) bobinado con fibras de carbón está situado dentro de un perfil exterior (10) y ciertas paredes (14) del perfil interior están unidas a las paredes del perfil exterior para formar una unidad integral. Se hace una reivindicación independiente para un procedimiento para la fabricación de los perfiles en el que; a) un perfil interior (12) está hecho bobinando capas de fibras impregnadas en resina húmeda sobre un núcleo; b) Otros perfiles nucleares se unen al aún húmedo perfil interior dejando ciertas paredes (14) del perfil interior libres para formar una conexión con el perfil exterior (10) después de bobinar el último con fibras impregnadas; c) curado de la resina d) remoción de los núcleos.
