Control system of the main or /auxiliary means of retention or / braking of vehicles. It is used mainly for installation and assembly in goods vehicles of medium and high weight. It has a control unit (1) associated to some detection means (2) of a series of magnitudes relatives to the vehicle, some detection means (3) of a series of data of the vehicle environment and some detection means (4) of the driver's acts, then that control unit (1) process the obtained information to determine the security speed of the vehicle, which once compared with the real speed of it, it can make a signal for a possible actuation on the means of retention or / braking (8) of vehicles, to automatically suit, without the driver intervention, its speed to the circulation conditions.
