Abstract

The package is in the form of an elongated box, which has devices to accept the ends of a roller. It is made from a folded piece of cardboard which has prefabricated folding edges, tabs, and insertion slits. The box has a cross section which is roughly square, and its internal width is larger than the diameter of the roller which is to be packaged, and two stabilising elements which can be stuck onto the ends of the roller. The elements have dimensions which correspond to the internal cross section of the folded cardboard. They also have central holes, which are only slightly larger than the diameter of the ends of the roller. The elements are in the form of square wooden panels.
