Abstract

We fija un conector (104) a una tubería metálica de transporte de fluido (102). El conector incluye un conducto axial (707) que tiene una cavidad interna (206) de diámetro agrandado definida en su interior. La tubería se fija al conector aplicando una fuerza axial la tubería haciendo así que se expandan las paredes de la tubería dentro de la cavidad. El extremo de la tubería se extiende dentro del conector en una longitud por lo menos igual a su diámetro y se ha previsto sellado adicional por la provisión de una junta teórica (208) que está en contacto con una circunferencia exterior de la tubería.
