Proyectil mejorado contra dobles blindajes. Se trata de un proyectil de pequeño calibre capacitado para atravesar un doble blindaje en un vehículo blindado y provocar al final una deflagración de altas temperaturas que neutraliza a los ocupantes del vehículo sin destruirlo. En una primera detonación provocada por el arma de lanzamiento, el proyectil impacta y penetra sobre un primer blindaje (12) realizando una abertura en el mismo, a la vez que queda anclado en ese blindaje. En una segunda fase se produce una segunda detonación provocada por la deformación de una pieza del proyectil debida al primer impacto, de manera que en esa segunda detonación la cabeza (3) del proyectil impacta y penetra contra el segundo blindaje (15). Finalmente, una masa explosiva (19) de la cabeza (3) explota produciendo la deflagración final de altas temperaturas. La base de lanzamiento de la cabeza (3) del proyectil estará constituida por la pieza deformada que ha quedado anclada al primer blindaje.Improved projectile against double shielding.
