Abstract

The invention relates to a re-usable cap for pressurised cylinders of the type that comprise a cap body or lid having a protector that is weakened by grooving. A crown is placed on top of the lid, surrounding said lid. The inventive device is essentially characterised in that the exterior of the protector of the inner body of the cap is provided with helical grooves for receiving ridges which are disposed on the inner surface of the crown. The ridges of the crown slide into the helical grooves of the inner body, in order to join both bodies together into one single piece, and define two axial positions for said crown on top of the inner body, compressing or decompressing the closing protector on the neck of the bottle, thereby closing and opening said neck with a simple turn of the cap.
