Abstract

Procedimiento para realizar pagos a través de Internet mediante una tarjeta de pago basada en CDROM no circular. Consiste en un procedimiento por el cual se realiza un pago a través de Internet con garantía de autenticación de usuario basado en el uso de un disco compacto no circular, legible desde el dispositivo lector de CDROM de cualquier ordenador. El pagador dispondrá del disco compacto no circular que podrá tener la forma y medidas de una tarjeta de crédito convencional y podrá tratarse de cualquiera de los dispositivos reproducibles por las unidades de Discos Compactos habituales en los ordenadores personales actuales. Dicho dispositivo contendrá la información del pagador necesaria para realizar el procedimiento de pago por Internet con garantía de autenticación. El vendedor, a través de un Terminal Punto de Venta (TPV) virtual, será el encargado de comprobar de forma remota la presencia de la tarjeta en el ordenador del cliente, adquirir los datos bancarios y de identidad del comprador y generar los mensajes involucrados en el protocolo.
