Abstract

Un método de preparación de una formulación farmacéutica adecuada para administrar a un paciente que se encuentra en necesidad de ello un ingrediente farmacológicamente activo que es moderadamente soluble en agua al pH aceptable para su administración, que comprende proporcionar el ingrediente activo en solución en una base farmacológicamente aceptable y mezclar la solución resultante con un ácido farmacológicamente aceptable en una cantidad tal que la formulación alcanza un pH comprendido en el intervalo de 3,5 a 8,5 para precipitar de este modo los ingredientes activos, habiéndose incorporado en la formulación un agente mejorador de la viscosidad antes de o durante la mezcla con el ácido.
