Abstract

System for recoating worn bathtubs. It consists of a system for coating an old and worn bathtub with another new bathtub (1) that can have an irregular configuration, such as a whirlpool bathtub, so that the inside of the old bathtub (2) may or may not match the geometry of the new bathtub (1) and can have additional volume. Initially, there is an original mould (3) that corresponds to the normal bathtub without any additional volume so that some detachable elements (4) corresponding to any additional volume, which the various models of bathtubs may have, are added to it. Therefore, for each of the measurements of the various currently commercially available bathtubs a single mould will be used. As a result, with a single mould, there is the possibility of inserting a new bathtub into the old bathtub even if it is from a different manufacturer and/or has different internal measurements.
