Abstract
The wire wound secondary (2) is single-layered on a high-resistance, low retentivity core (3). The wire-wound primary (1) comprises a small number of close turns, insulated from the secondary. The ignition transformer is interconnected with a further ignition transformer, secondary voltages being additive.
