Abstract
High-voltage telescopic isolator with air insulation.Visible cut-off telescopic isolator for high-voltage electrical substations with air insulation.It comprises a fixed conductor contact (1) joined to a sealing (2) and a conductor body (3) mounted on an insulation support (4) where the mobile conductor contact (5) is found, located in the same axis as the fixed contact. Using a telescopic conductor device (6), the mobile contact performs a rectilinear movement until it is introduced in the fixed contact, creating the electrical connection. When the telescopic conductor device retracts, the fixed contact of the mobile separates. The extension and retraction of the telescopic conductor device is done using a non-conductive valve (7), activated using toothed wheels, moved by an insulated rotating axis (8), joined at its other end with motorised or manual activation.The telescopic isolator reduces the separation distances to be maintained between substation insulators, compared to other insulators.
