Abstract

Sistema y método de lectura y verificación de firmas electrónicas. El sistema comprende, por un lado, la conversión de la firma electrónica a un formato de código de barras bidimensional que pueda imprimirse en papel junto con el documento en cuestión y, por otro lado, la lectura y, en su caso, verificación del documento impreso con la firma en formato de código de barras. La conversión de la firma digital a un formato de código de barras se lleva a cabo en un servidor remoto con medios apropiados al efecto. La lectura de la firma digital en formato de código de barras puede llevarse a cabo localmente mediante la aplicación directa de un lector de código de barras o en un servidor remoto a quien se le envía una imagen digitalizada. La verificación de la firma siempre tiene lugar en un servidor remoto dotado de medios apropiados.
