Abstract

Said valve comprises a cartridge (3) provided with a water passage (4) communicating the common water inlet conduit (17) with the bath outlet conduit (5) an opening (6) communicating said conduit (17) with the shower outlet conduit (18) and a plug (7) integral with a rod (8) that is forced upward by an extension spring (9) actuated by a push button (10). In idle state, the opening (6) is closed while the water passage (4) is open in a distributing position towards the bath. When the push button is pushed down, the plug closes the passage (4) and opens the opening (6) so that the water flows to the shower, the pressure in the water flow being sufficient to overcome the action of the spring. The rod has a bottom, hollow cylindrical portion (11), whose inner cavity (12) defines the above-mentioned opening. The plug (7) consists of an annular protuberance that is adapted to rest on two peripheral seats (13, 14) provided in the fixed part of the cartridge.
