Abstract
Mecha perfeccionada para vaporizadores de sustancias activas. Aplicable a vaporizadores en los que existe un recipiente (1) contenedor de la sustancia activa, que es extraída al exterior del mismo por capilaridad y con la colaboración de una mecha (4) que emerge sustancialmente del recipiente (1) y que por fuera de él recibe la acción de un elemento calefactor (8), preferentemente a base de resistencias PTC para potenciar la evaporación de la sustancia activa, centra sus características en la incorporación de un recubrimiento exterior (10), que afecta parcial o totalmente a su superficie lateral, a base de un material resistente al calor y con buena conductibilidad térmica, de manera que constituye una barrera entre la mecha propiamente dicha (4) y el elemento calefactor (8), que evita la degradación de la mecha, que reparte uniformemente el calor generado por el calefactor (8) en todo el perímetro de la mecha y que asegura que la evaporación de la sustancia activa se produce de manera controlada entre la extremidad libre (11) de dicha mecha y su superficie lateral.Improved wick for vaporizers of active substances.
