Una caja de cartón para acomodar uno o más artículos, que comprende un primer y segundo paneles (20, 12/26), en que el mencionado primer panel (20) tiene al menos una apertura (58, 59) para recibir un artículo, en que al menos la apertura (58, 59) está definida al menos en parte por al menos una aleta plegable (60, 63) abisagrada al mencionado primer panel (20), en que al menos una aleta plegable (60, 63) está doblada hacia arriba para que tenga un extremo distal de la misma acoplable al lado inferior de una parte saliente radialmente de un artículo en al menos una apertura (58, 59), caracterizada porque el mencionado segundo panel (12/26) tiene una aleta de abrazadera (48, 52) abisagrada al mismo, y estando doblada en una posición de abrazadera en que la mencionada aleta de abrazadera se extiende entre los mencionados primer y segundo paneles (20, 12/26) para limitar el movimiento de los mencionados primer y segundo paneles entre sí, y porque al menos una aleta plegable (60, 63) comprende unos medios para acoplarse a una parte de la mencionada aleta de abrazadera (48, 52) en la posición de la abrazadera.
