Abstract

Laser guide system for photocoagulation on sub retinal, neovascular membranes.System to improve accuracy when locating points on the retina that have to be photocoagulated with laser. It allows marking the points to be photocoagulated on the coroid angiograph with indocyanine green, so that they are easily identifiable and the system automatically transfers these points to the retina graph image, where it would be difficult to locate them, but it is the one that the ophthalmologist uses when positioning the laser for photocoagulation. The system consists of a server (1), a communication channel (2), and several user computers (3). The server has a program, which, using mathematical techniques and digital image processing, transfers the points to photocoagulate to the retina graph that the ophthalmologist has marked on the angiograph. It makes a service that can be used locally or via the Internet.
