Abstract

Se ha desarrollado un procedimiento para purificación de aguas u otros fluidos, capaz de eliminar contaminantes biológicos, tales como: virus, bacterias, protozoos patógenos y sus quistes. Está basado en la capacidad de adsorción de proteínas de polímeros fluorados como el PVDF. Permite la recuperación posterior de los organismos retenidos posibilitando un análisis posterior de interés epidemiológico, tanto cuali como cuantitativo.
