Method to dissipate heat generated in electrical equipment container cabinets, in subterranean telecommunication networks.Designed to allow the underground implementation of this type of cabinet or structures; dissipation of the heat generated, and their protection from humidity and other environmental effects, the method consists in using a watertight chest (1), in which the aforementioned cabinet or structure is housed; at least one tube (2) appears from said chest (1) and acts as a thermal dissipater for the heat towards the earth in which the tube is buried. It is of such a size that it offers a sufficient thermal transfer area to dissipate the heat generated by the electrical equipment, a forced circulation is established in said tube (2) with the help of a ventilator (3) or similar component, said tube (2) also maintains the chest's (1) watertight characteristics.<IMAGE>
