Abstract

Micro-crystal graphic reactor.The reactor includes a main block (1) with rabbets (3) and (4) in the upper face for placing a cover and holder, respectively, so that in its lower face it has another rabbet for placing a second heating block (2) whose face, designed for fixing by adhesive the rear rabbet of the main block (1), has areas of resistive, conductive paste (11) deposited by silk-screen printing and that comprise the corresponding heating element, including the heating block (2), a thermopair (12) that sends temperature information to an electronic circuit for its regulation all this is done via a connector (8) linked to the heating element (2) and housed in a side slot (6) in the main block (1). The reactor can be adapted to any conventional microscope slide and is designed to obtain micro crystals from dissolved, chemical substances, while being able to control temperature, which allows controlling the crystallisation process and growth of the crystalline structures.
