Abstract

Machine for drying animals.It materialises in a cabin (1) of shape and size suitable to receive inside it one or more animals, in the latter case with movable partitioned compartments incorporated in its interior. The cabin has a front door (2) for access to its interior, which like its lateral walls is fitted with wide glass sectors (3), which allow the animals to see outside from it during the drying, the cabin (1) is finished off above with a roof structure (3) that houses a fan and a set of electrical resistances, the fan takes air from within the cabin itself through a grille (4) and returning it in a closed cycle to its interior through grilles or lateral exits (5). A PLC with a suitable programme controls the fan and the resistances, with the flow of air and the temperature running at maximum during the drying phase, progressively reducing when the animal is almost dry, such that at the end of the operating cycle of the machine, the air temperature coincides with the exterior temperature, in order to avoid a large change of temperature when the animal leaves the cabin.
