Abstract

Sensor de presión mediante fibra óptica estrechada, útil para medir la presión atmosférica o la manométrica, que comprende una fibra óptica estrechada sujeta por uno de sus extremos a un punto fijo, y por el otro a un punto móvil que se desplaza mecánicamente en función de la presión objeto de medición, modificando así la curvatura de la fibra. Por dicha fibra estrechada se hace pasar un haz de luz cuya potencia óptica de salida varía en función de la curvatura de la fibra provocada por la presión.
