Abstract

Suspensión trasera progresiva para bicicletas con configuración de cuadrilátero de doble bucle deformable. Consiste en una suspensión para rueda trasera de bicicleta basado en un sistema de cuatro pivotes. La compresión-extensión del elemento de suspensión muelle-amortiguador viene dada por la deformación de un cuadrilátero de doble bucle articulado, formado por el cuadro, un basculante que pivota respecto al cuadro encima del eje de pedalier, y un brazo superior y una bieleta a cada lado de la bicicleta. Las bieletas pivotan en el cuadro por detrás del tubo del sillín, y los brazos superiores conforman sendos triángulos con pivotes en sus vértices posteriores donde quedan ligados al basculante, y en sus vértices anterior-superiores donde quedan ligados a las bieletas. El elemento de suspensión conecta los vértices anterior-inferiores de dichos brazos con el cuadro, por delante del tubo del sillín. Dicha configuración proporciona gran rigidez y alta progresividad en el endurecimiento.
