Abstract

"Sistema de clavo cerrojado para la reconstrucción artrodesis en facturas de calcáneo". Este sistema consta de un clavo en forma de cuña con dos orificios roscados en los que se insertan dos tornillos canulados que estabilizan todo el montaje. Estos elementos se montan mediante un sistema de inserción y guía-destino. Su finalidad principal es la reconstrucción de las fractura conminutas graves del calcaneo en lo humano y la fijación de éste hueso una vez reconstruida su forma principal al astrágalo para conseguir que se artrodese o fusione a éste. El abordaje quirúrgico se realiza mediante una pequeña incisión paraaquílea externa, resultado la técnica cerrada ya que no se expone la fractura. El clavo se inserta en la tuberosidad mayor del calcáneo y seguidamente es atravesado por los tornillos que roscan en el propio clavo y en el cuerpo del astrágalo. El sistema aprovecha la tención del tendón de Aquiles y la fascia plantar para su estabilización.
